What we keep

• Your email address, and a scrambled (hashed) form of your password: we cannot read it.
• The texts you submit and the rewritten results, so you can find them in your history, for 30 days. You can delete them earlier, one by one or all at once.
• How many words each run used, and the network address it came from, to enforce the plan limits and stop abuse.
• For the free plan only: a random device id and a short summary of your browser's settings (screen, time zone, language, graphics), stored scrambled so we can count free words per device and not per account. They are kept for two months, also after you delete your account, and are never used for advertising.
• If you subscribe: your Stripe customer and subscription ids and plan status. Card details go to Stripe directly; we never see them.

Who processes your text

Your text is sent to our rewriting service, which uses AI model providers to rewrite it. We do not sell your data or use your texts for advertising.

Cookies, ads and analytics

One cookie keeps you logged in, and one holds the random device id above.

We advertise on Google. The Google Ads tag on this site sets Google's own cookies to measure which ads lead to a visit, a first text, a sign-up or a payment. When you sign up or pay, it also sends Google your email address in hashed form, to match the conversion to an ad. Google handles this data under its own privacy policy. Your texts are never sent to Google.

We also use Microsoft Clarity to see how the site is used: clicks, scrolling and page views, recorded with Microsoft's own cookies. The texts you paste and get back, and your email address, are masked and not recorded. Microsoft handles this data under its own privacy statement.

Deleting your data

My account → Delete my account removes your account and history at once and cancels your subscription. Questions: support@textyy.com.
